We are pleased to announce that on July 3, 2006, the U.S. Department
of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service
(APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), National Center for Import and
Export (NCIE), deployed the ePermits
system. ePermits is a web-based system that allows users to submit
permit applications, track applications, apply for renewals and
amendments, and receive a copy of the permit – all while online. Users
are required to sign up for an eAuthentication
account to access ePermits; however, once you receive you eAuth id and
password, it provides a centralized authentication service for all
web-based services across the federal government. |
